BIO 

My name is Ari Tirado (He/Him), a second-year Brooklyn College Transfer Student with a driving passion to move forward the underrepresented communities at Brooklyn College, such as undocumented, and BLMI students. Majoring in Philosophy and Children & Youth Studies, along with a minor in Puerto Rican & Latinx Studies.

I am currently a member of the Mellon Transfer Student Research Program, focused on uncovering the reasons behind failed worker co-ops in New York City. I serve as the vice-president of the Brooklyn College Pre-Law Society, building connections with law schools, and organizing events for students to engage with peers and admissions teams. Additionally, I serve on the organizing committee of the NYC Union of Students advocating for the passing of New York legislative bill R.E.P.A.I.R. While also working closely to build the foundation of the Brooklyn College Student Union with dedicated peers; Advocating  for the concerns and needs of all students.
